It was much more gentle on my beautiful Border-Aussies skin than my previous deshedding comb and it took massive amounts of loose hair off. The little thing you push to push the hair off the comb is kind of silly and useless for me. It sort of works, and it might work on the short stiff hair of a Husky, but my dogs hair is fine and just clings to it. Really, No big deal, idc. The comb gets all the hair off, it is great - the best comb I have ever used. I highly recommend this comb, however, I paid just around $35 for it and that is just crazy. Pet stores charge the same, I looked, but free shipping made it cost efficient to order it from here.
Works better than I expected. Sturdy quality, and easy to use. Gentle enough on my dog, even though she still does not like being brushed, but used like a brush, and removes a lot more hair than our standard brush. It is so easy to clean, and with the push of a button, it is so nice to see the excess hair in the trash rather than on my floor or furniture. It will be a great compliment to the brushing routine.
