Very nice, sliced through my Jack Russells nails like a knife through soft butter. The little stop tab is loose however I do not use that anyway so it is not a problem for me and, although there is not any way to tighten it, it is easily held in place by a finger on the same hand you are using to grip the handles if you do use it. One item of note is the rubber handles do keep sliding off and that is annoying but not enough to make me want to try a different brand.
I absolutely love these nail clippers. They are sharp out of the package. A great clip Everytime. Easy to use. The latch will move but it is easy to hold out of the way while clipping nails.
