I was skeptical at first as to how well this would work. My dog is medium/large and it seems to work well for her. After the first couple tries at it, it became more effective for her. Her claws are definitely filed and smooth. Thank goodness because she hates having her claws clipped. She is very smart so she finishes it very fast but if I give this to her every day her nails are perfect. Only downside is that she is so strong because of her size the the middle file circle peeled off a little bit. But other that that, it is great!
