Im not a groom I only groom my dog and Ive always used the cheap $20 clippers from Ross that only last about a year and a half to two years. I decided to invest in these clippers thinking it would be worthwhile in the long run. The first three times I used them they were great I loved them. By the fourth time the blade needed to be replaced which cost $35, but worked great after that replacement. The fifth time I used it the battery life was only lasting about an hour so I had to stop continuously to charge the clippers. I decided to just order two replacement batteries which was another $30. So all in all it wouldve been half the price for me to just buy new $20 clippers every single time than it was to buy these clippers. Dont buy them theyre terrible and such a hassle to use. Also they do the same job as the cheap stuff at a way higher price.
Few months in it stopped charging
The amount of money you spend on the upkeep is more than the actual product. This product has lasted, however Ive bought a replacement battery as a backup and they both dont hold a charge for long. Ive also had to replace the blades quickly. The product has given me issues during grooming but it still gets the job done. Ive been using for all over grooms which I hear is not necessarily what its meant for. Still good to have in hand I do recommend, just be prepared to spend more on replacement equipment as well.
